As we study the Scriptures, we find differing perceptions of God\u2019s identity among Christians. But who is the God of the Last Generation of Saints? – Revelation 7:9-10 gives us clues about how those saved in the end times will recognize and worship Him. Will this generation see God as a Trinity or as a single being? How does this view align with biblical teachings and the revelations in Revelation? Throughout this study, we will analyze the descriptions of the last generation saints and their beliefs, seeking to understand to whom they direct their worship in the final moments of human history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Christian religion has always taught the existence of one God, unlike most pagan religions. Even so, within the Christian religion itself, we find variations in the definition of the one God. Most Christians, influenced by Catholicism, believe in one God composed of three divine persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Those who believe in this way teach that the true God is triune and deny the divine oneness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within this theme, what does the Bible reveal to us about what the last generation of saints here on earth believes? Do they believe in the triune God or in the oneness of God as being just one person?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Is the interpretation of the numerous texts used by most Christians to defend the triune God correct? If so, we can say that the last generation of those saved on this earth, the one that will live before the return of Jesus, will certainly have this knowledge and will be worshiping the True God. Let us see what the book of Revelation tells us about this subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us read Revelation 7:9-10 concerning the great multitude of saved people at the end of time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\nRevelation 7:9-10 – “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, and tribes, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palm branches in their hands. And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb<\/mark>“<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Regarding this crowd, the book of Revelation presents this group before the throne and before the Lamb (a reference to Jesus). Verse 10 shows them crying out in a loud voice something very interesting. They cried out to God, saying, “our God<\/mark>” and “to the Lamb<\/mark>“. Notice that this crowd made a clear distinction between God and the Lamb. They did not regard the Lamb as their God, but they regarded someone else as being God, and this person was “seated on the throne<\/mark>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scene of the person sitting on the throne is also presented in chapters 4 and 5. It is interesting to note in both chapters that the heavenly beings also consider only the person sitting on the throne to be their God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
