John 6:63 \u2013 “It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life<\/mark>“<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This passage highlights a powerful spiritual truth: true life is not found in our own abilities, possessions, or achievements, but in the Spirit of God. Jesus’ words challenge us to reconsider where we place our trust and seek fulfillment. Often, we focus on what is temporary and fleeting\u2014earthly success, material possessions, and personal strength\u2014believing that they will provide lasting satisfaction. However, Jesus reminds us that true life, the kind that brings eternal meaning, is only found in the Spirit, and it is through His words that this life is imparted to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we reflect on this, we come to realize how often we prioritize the physical over the spiritual. We look for security in things that can be lost, while Jesus invites us to place our trust in what is eternal and unchanging. When we are weary, discouraged, or disheartened, it is often because we are relying on our own strength to navigate life. Jesus offers us rest and renewal through His words. As we feed our souls on the truth of the gospel, the Holy Spirit works within us, leading us into a deeper relationship with God, filling us with peace, purpose, and joy that transcends our circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us choose today to trust in the Spirit’s work within us. Let us feed on Jesus’ words, allowing them to bring life and healing to our souls. When we rely on the Spirit and not on our own efforts, we discover a life that is abundant and eternal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: The Life That Comes from the Spirit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Lord, today we recognize that true life can only come from You. Help us to depend less on our own strength and to trust more in Your Spirit. May Your words be our daily sustenance, bringing life and renewal to our souls. Guide us so that we may live not by the flesh but by the Spirit, and may Your life overflow within us.
