Introduction
In the article “The Character of God in His Law,” I will explore how the characteristics of God’s nature are reflected in His Law and commandments. We often hear criticisms of God’s Law without understanding the profound reflection of His being in it. Throughout this text, I will compare the divine qualities with the truths contained in the commandments, showing how each one reveals aspects of God’s perfection, justice, and holiness. We will see how these two dimensions—God and His Law—intertwine and guide us to a deeper understanding of His will.
The Same Characteristics of God in His Law
Did you know that the same characteristics of God’s nature and person are also present in His Law and commandments?
I have seen many people criticize God’s Law, or any of the Lord’s commandments. Unfortunately, they do this because they have learned a misinterpretation of such matters. Unbeknownst to them, when they speak ill of the Law and/or His commandments, they are, in fact, speaking ill of God’s character, for the Law is a reflection of His nature!
